“What can I say...aside from the fact that we let the match slip through our fingers. We started the match with a 2 player advantage, but had no blockers to their 3. A few casualties came early, but the opposition left the ball carrier open and we eventualy took advantage around turn 6. On our opening drive of the 2nd half, we drove down and scored in 4 turns. By then, our numbers were down to 7 vs their 8(3 with block). Our defense finaly gave way on turn6. We were still confident that victory was secured, but the clock had different ideas, setting itself back a turn! This proved to be the difference in the game, after the ball was crowd surfed and was thrown in near an open player! Urien proceeded to pass the ball to another player, who scampered in for the tieing score. Heartbreaking loss, but entertaining still :D
Sadly Ofort died while blocking an opponent, killing himself in an explosion of blood. His son, Ofort Jr., joined the team after the match and vowed to avenge his father's tragic death.
Great game Urien, very entertaining. Will be looking forward to a rematch. Next time the clock won't help you ;)”
