“What a match!
the dwarves did what dwarves had to do – hit the far more skilled elves really hard.
So the beardy players outnumbered their opponents the whole match.
Still the pointy ears managed to pass and dodge their way into the endzone twice and the game went to overtime.
In the end the dwarven toughness and excellent armour, not to forget their mighty blows, proved to be too much for the swift but fragile elves.
Compliments to Krypton for the always fair play despite the rising loss of team members! He really tried, but he tried with elves ;-)”
“It was a typical dwarf/elf match. Hr got the ball and slowly marched down the field knocking out my players with mighty blows as he went. He scored but left me time for a 2 turn pass and multiple dodges to tie the game at the half.
2nd half I got the ball and tried a long pass on turn 2. One of his ag 2 guys pulled down the interception. It might have been over there but he ran into the open and I had a chance. I got the ball back and scored on about turn 4.
Well I could not stop him as he marched down again and tied the score a the end of the half. But by now he had gotten me down to 5 players left standing. So overtime i tried to get open but was outnumbered and fumbled trying a gfi to get down the field.
Good luck to the dwarves in the next round”
