Note strength discrepancy, but league game and didn't have choice. Both teams 3-0-0 before this game.
Lost coin toss, initial kickoff = free reroll for Call.
First block of game = KO'd one of my blitzers, thick skull failed, never came back in (4 more kickoffs during the game).
Turn 2, 1st half, stand firm longbeard is BH, didn't use apoth.
Call now has 11 vs. 9 advantage, with 2 flesh golems, quite easy to get all 2d blocks his favor and run the ball in in the meantime.
Turn 5, 1st half, kickoff to me, perfect defense for Call, ball lands in top left corner, abutting sideline, 1 square in from end zone. Team was set to sweep through the bottom. Runner fails to pick up ball (initial weather was pouring rain).
Call mows down my line easily and runs a few players towards the ball. Next turn, stand up a few guys and pick up the ball. Try to throw it in the general vicinity of my plays (runner has pass), roll two 1's and end turn.
Turn 7 first half, Call kills my troll slayer, complete with failed apothecary. Call then KO's my runner by the ball, picks it up and runs in for score. Now losing 2-0.
Call lines up 3 zombies for turn 8 kickoff, including newly acquired troll slayer. Kickoff result is bad kick, and ball goes out of bounds. Out of the 5 kickoffs, that's the only one that I won. Manage to knock down zombies, but failed pass attempt (only 1 ag3 player on field at that time anyway, plus pouring rain still).

2nd half, kickoff to me, able to field 8 players. Call still has 12 or 13 available. Kickoff result = blitz. Call feels sorry for me and ends their turn. Their mercy did me little good, however, as I accidentally made a 1d block and rolled a skull. Then I rerolled a skull. That didn't help- Call easily able to surround and conquer.
The rest of the game is a blur. Somewhere along the line I was able to KO a werewolf and BH someone else, but my other blitzer got killed in the meantime. Call was easily able to score again, but took a few turns because had difficulty picking up the ball.
Turn 8 of 2nd half received a kickoff (weather changed to nice), able to pick up the ball and make a pass to my ogre, who caught it and blitzed a zombie for a casualty. Go team.
Good game, bardo- you played very well. Unfortunately I wasn't much of a match for you. Keep it up, and you will easily win the league. Next league, though, I'll coach a team that will at least put up a fight!”

Actually my luck was higher due to kick offs (1 blitz, 2 +RR, 1 quick snap and 1 perfect defense) and a couple of silly and useless failed pick ups in the last turns of the game in order to score with the werewolf.
