I think it's safe to say, I hated the 1st half and Hickory hated atleast the early part of the 2nd.
The Elves gave as good as they got and really battered an orc team comprising, mostly, of veteran and emerging star players.
Not one for the nerves.
Now, next opponent will either be a monster dorf team or a zon team. Hmmm should be interesting, but without the mighty Graack, difficult.”

I came into this match knowing it wasn't going to be easy. The strategy would be to pressure the ball carrier and try to knock the ball out of his hands as often as possible. Alas, that was much easier said than done, as his AG5 thrower usually brought the ball down, and with sure hands neutralizing my strip ball, there was no way for me get it out of his hands, unless I roll lucky 2 d blocks.
As my opponent said, first half was to me, and the second to him. I could have stood a chance in OT, but MB and a lot of knockouts meant I had 3 players left (one of them a tree) to stop him, and it was not meant to be.
All in all, this match went alot better than I thought it would. A fine game, against a fine opponent.”
