“The Fury crash out of the cup after being on the receiving end of a beating by an Amazon team they never got to grips with.
Receiving the kick the Fury managed a fairly standard blodge TD and looked to be holding the Queens up successfully until the Fury coach failed his bonehead roll on turn 7 allowing the Amazons to equalise.
Kicking in the second half the Fury again sought to delay and harass the Queens and despite a steady stream of KOs they managed to recover the ball. Scoring with so few players seemed be just beyond the Fury despite getting within three easy dice of the line. The Queens couldn't convert after the failed Fury dodge and the game went into overtime.
Managing to field 7 players vs 11 and with no RR the Fury faced a difficult task. The dice were not in their favour and this time the Queens produced CAS instead of KOs to nearly clear the Furies from the field and go 2-1 up. The remaining Furies could offer only token resistance and could not prevent the score slipping to 3-1 by the final whistle.
The Fury only have themselves to blame for not winning but the Queen's armour rolls were the cause of the pain that followed. Again the Fury will struggle to find 11 players for the next match.”
