“Well today was a sad day, I lost my unbeaten record with the Machine, it was the first time I had conceded more than 1 TD in a game with the side, and we gave the title to Gronan's Khemri :-(

The key difference was that my side desperately needed Block on the BOB's

I will do a full analysis of where my season went wrong later at the end of the season. As for the game look below....

AFL Mummys hired Ramtut III before the game

First Half

Turn 1
Mummys received and with the first block of the game they BH'd an Orc lineman. They proceded to cage up on the LOS of the Orc left.
The Orcs reformed their line slightly but a turn over was caused by a failed blitz.

Turn 2
The Khemri advanced a few squares down past the LOS. The Orcs responded by blitzing and knocking over the ball carrying skeleton, the ball fell luckily for the Khemri and went straight into the arms of a Mummy. This may have been the decisive moment of the game. A kinder bounce would have let the Orcs into the half, and a 0-0 or 1-0 to the Orcs at the end of the first half would have been likely. It was not to be :-(

Turn 3
The Troll was BH'd by a Mummy, but he regenerated. The ball carrier moved further upfield. The Orcs managed to push back the ball carrier and SI'd a Blitz-ra who regenerated.

Turn 4
Khemri adavnced ball carrier to half-way point of Orc half. Orcs suffered an early turnover.

Turn 5
Khemri advanced to within 4 squares of TD zone, whilst the Orcs pulled two blitzers back and got a push back on the ball carrier with a 2 dice against block.

Turn 6
Khemri made little movement with the ball carrier, and the Orcs promptly failed a 2 dice block agaianst on the ball carrying Mummy.

Turn 7
Khemri moved to 1 square of scoring, the Orcs had given up any hope and just blocked, whilst getting a TZ on the ball carrier.

Turn 8
The ball carrier pushed back the TZ player and scored. 1-0 to the AFL Mummys.

Turn 8 (Orcs receiving)
The Khemri got a perfect defense which frustrated the hell out of the Orc coach who smacked a supporter in the groin in a fit of rage :-)
The Orcs bashed to no avail, and even failed the attempted pass.

Second Half

Turn 1
The Orcs received and pushed down the Khemri left with 5 players, and brought ball carrier to LOS. The Khemri used the strength and pace of Ramtut to break through trhe screen and blitz the ball carrier, but a push back was all he gained.

Turn 2
The Orcs disposed of all the TZ's in their way and raced the ball carrier up to the advanced blitzer, a quick pass and Smelly Saussage scored. 1-1

Turn 2 (Khemri receiving)
After bashing on the LOS the Khemri moved up to the Orc left.

Turn 3
The Orcs rushed a blitzer up into the back field, and blocked on LOS, but a BOB was BH'd and a turn over caused. The Khemri advanced the ball carrier to LOS.

Turn 4
The Orcs turned over early again as a blitzer tripped on a GFI to blitz the ball carrier. The Khemri coolly advanced a few more squares down the sideline of the Orc left.

Turn 5
At this point the Orcs were pretty desperate and just did their safest blocks on the LOS first, a turnover occured though. The Khemri surrounded the Orc players, but Ramtut III failed a dodge.

Turn 6
Orcs just stood up all their players, and attempted a really risky dodge into a square with 3 TZ's in an attempt to blitz the ball carrier...it failed....
Khemri advanced to last square of the Orc half.

Turn 7
Orcs had just 5 players left on the pitch and again just stood up. Khemri just blocked.

Turn 8
Orcs stood up again, and the Khemri scored. Game ends 2-1 to the AFL Mummys.”
