“You figure that a coach with wood elves makes the following calculation - "Yes, I'll probably take loads of casualties, but I'll make up for it by being able to move at will around the pitch and score long TD's by dodging and outrunning my opponent". Well, apparently that's just wrong.
Tordenskjold took two BH on the first two turns, followed soon by a SI, leaving him with 6 or 7 guys the whole game - nothing a wood elf team wouldn't expect. But he probably failed 4 or 5 dodges by rolling 1's, and usually early in his turn or for the player who had a chance to score/pickup/pass. Not to mention that of the few blocks he threw, he probably got skull/pow on 80% of them - which plays right in the Norse hands.
Honestly I was lucky to put up this win. I got my one TD early, and then couldn't pick up a ball to save my life, constantly leaving the ball in a position that the woodies could have scored from. Only luck prevented that.
Thank god my thrower got SPP's for a new skill - SURE HANDS. Nice game Tordenskjold - hope I never have to play you when your team is totally healthy. ”
