After having scared their opposition into leaving w/o for the two first rounds da Big 'Urt were ready for the tournament final without having played a single match...but there they faced the dreaded Dead Alive!, that struck them out of the final in the Wooden Shield cup.

Yet again the mighty ogres would fall, but this time they were much closer to defeating their opponent. The Big 'Urt's luck fluctuated a lot during the match (more than usual) and they mixed some fantastic moves with some real blunders. Their undead opponents pulled off some unexpected stuff too though, like when one of their LOS zombies dodged away from an ogre and blitzed a goblin ball carrier just a couple of yards before the end zone line, leaving the goblin stunned in the grass...robbed of what looked like a sure TD.

After having scored a great gob throw TD, and the opponents fighting their way to an equalizer, the Big 'Urt had a great chance of winning the match. But the gob throw went horribly wrong and instead lead to a counter attack for the undeads, where the ogre defense lines broke down as rapidly as the ghouls and warewolves were running, ending in a winning TD for the opposition.

Mot da Katapult Kidd stood for a spectacular crowd pleasing event when he failed a GFI, fell towards the grass and managed to gouge his own eye out. The even looked so humorous that even his own teammates had a good laugh.

Congrats to another tournament scalp, bamf. I always enjoy our matches and it only stung a little bit to lose my 2nd final to you. See you around!”
