#8 Rob Riggle – Broken Ribs (MNG) #15 Guest Al Gore – Dead (RIP)
“Gremlins on Crack seemed to be a couple goblins shy of a full side. In contrast with a Daily Show side that was so full old correspondants, hosts, and even guests of the show were filling up the roster. The first few minutes were pretty peaceful, but then Crack Kicker Cabron was called out by the ref after trying to wipe his cleats off on Jon Stewart's face. Al Gore wasted no time retaliating against sploot (since Cabron was now in the dugout), prompting Jon Stewart to recite the Daily Show's motto: "You even try to put one of ours in the hospital and we'll put one of yours in the morgue." Rohos warmed to his rebuttal and exacted capital vengeance on the former vice president but couldn't prevent a score.
If the first half was mostly Daily Show, the second half was all Daily Show. The ref spotted drug paraphernalia in the Gremlins’ dugout and citing a ban on all but performance enhancing drugs sent many of them off. After adding in a fair number of casualties—the Gremlins were only able to field a couple of players for much of the second half.
The Daily Show remains undefeated in round robin play. When asked about the recent win Stephen Colbert said "Their pupils were dilated so much I almost felt guilty blocking them . . . almost. I guess it really is true that winners don't use drugs." (He then coughed discretely and hopped on the H-train). ”
