The boys started off making some rookie mistakes, setting up their attacks poorly. Sven soon ko'ed himself on a hit! Still Sleet managed to get the ball, and in an unusual twist of fate, handed the ball off to Halldor, who scored the TD!
But in a repeat of last game, the Norse lost their 1-0 lead with two unanswered scores by the Elves in the second half. Osk had a chance to throw it to Sleet, but he fumbled the ball and the elves scored their second TD.
The fans are down on the norse right now. Plus the team suffered its first permanent loss: unremarkable lineman Bjorn Agin was struck down.
With the money earned, the Norse decided if they can't make their own luck, they'll need to buy it, so off to the good luck trinket shop they went...
