The game was doomed for clumsiness from the begining with both teams suffering from missing players. The elves took an early lead but the resolve of the Halflings soon equalised the score. A perfect roll on the kick-off table rolled back the clock with injury time and allowed my agile elves to score a two turn TD whilst avoiding and passing in TZ's. The second half was a little slower paced with only 1 TD coming from a last turn blitz from RedII to give his first match hat-trick. The real highlight for me was been able to knockout a treeman with my thrower. The decisive plays of the game were my wardancers using the strip-ball ability to get the ball out from a pack of 5 halflings. Next game should show the Steel Leaf team back to full strength with only one nigiling injury to be concerned about.

Kypseli was a great coach to play against, and i look forward to giving him a rematch should he want it.
