“The stadium was swarming with holloweyed zombie fans as the Sigmarite Sluggers faced the undead players of the Assitens Kirkegaarden.
The humans were the first to score, after almost losing the ball in an offensive that was disrupted by the two undead wights as they takled Immelmann to the ground. He regained his feet, picked up the ball and sent it flying far to Herpin who once again stood waiting in prime position to score.
Doing what they can to avoid getting too close to the mummies, the Sluggers then managed to slow down their opponents offensive and finaly snatched the ball, too late though for another score as the whistle blew for halftime.
In the next line-up the sigmarites put up a perfect defense and were thanks too a fumbling mummy (he got tripped up by his own wrappings) able to score once again. Most of the half had already passed and there were not enough time for the undead to tie the game. Their fans were much distressed by this and a crowd of restless souls dragged the ref off the court, consuming his brains while the undead on the pitch took the chanse to deal out some booting while there was noone to to send them off.
As many of the sluggers were sent into the dugout, ruffed up by rotting boots, the undead were finaly able to walk down to the endzone and score a TD for themselves.
Albeit some broken bones it was a win for the Sluggers!”
