“Well a bit of lop-sided luck cost me this game. Had a blitz on his ball carrier first half and rolled snakes on the dodge to get there. Then I had a chance to make it a 2-1 half when I got another blitz on his ball carrier later but he got the perfect scatter (1 too far from my Thrower to throw it downfield).
Second half, my opponent stalled a crucial turn and I managed to get the ball free but pushed my luck by trying a GFI when I should have just gone for a 3+ Pass (AG5 Pass).
When trying to equalise on T15 I again had the horrid luck getting a 1 on my hand off to burn a RR, and then I failed a GFI - two ones from three rolls. I should have passed there (3+ with Pass) but there you go.
I fouled my opponent on T16 for his stall but luckily he got away with it and took no injury.
With some even dice, or me playing a bit more conservatively when I was having the crud dice would have seen a draw.
In hindsight, I am to blame, I was playing tired and should have thought more carefully about the GFI and Dodge I failed with my Throwers. I had a 3+ pass each time (1 in 9 failure) vs a 2+ (1 in 6 failure). So the tiredness = sloppy play = punished by the dice.”
