Wow, what can I say. The Blitzers won the match but may have lost the battle. Apart from the lasting injuries, 4 players gained skills. Two of those players aged and suffered niggling injuries beyond the scope of the game.

The Blitzers went in as underdogs against a very good team and a very good coach. It is a well known fact that the Black Fire Pass fans are known to travel well and they did this time. The press corp did their job too, (Doom & Gloom) and left them with only 2 rerolls to start the match. This would prove key as Jerome Bustus (The Chariot) broke loose after a hard battle in the pitch and the NFL greats fell over themselves trying to catch him.

The Blitzer defense was solid too, holding the NFL greats in the 1st half, despite injury time and a bad kick helping them out. In the second half, nuffle blessed the blitzers as the warriors on the line took the pounding from the stronger Chaos Dwarfs and managed to open up a hole and popped the ball loose.

Again being in position, The Chariot manged to plow his way through and scoop up the ball, again escaping the charging NFL greats and scoring his 2nd TD of the game.

A tough battle, the casualty count shoud say it all 10 total casualties. Sadly for the NFL greats, Jim Brown suffered a niggling injury as well, and that could prove a major problem for them down the road.

A well played game, and the Blitzers won thankuflly to some lucky dice (or unlucky for my opponent) at just the right times. A rematch anytime!
