Only ten players in the lineup against a certifiably stronger team. Tough.
I chose to have first drive, but a five turn riot held us back. Scoring in three turns with orcs? Even tougher.

The first drive started out good, though, with my front line of blockers knocking down Gruff Gruff, the rat ogre. A nice KO which lasted the whole game. It wasn't enough to turn the tide, but a nice start nontheless. Then I boxed up behind the black orcs hand hoped for the best.

Unfortunately they retaliated by knocking out my only SPP player and then blitzing the ball holder, resulting in another KO. This, however, ended their turn. I boxed up once again so the cowardly rats assaulted a lone black orc, fouling him badly. He got away with a KO. Last turn noting much happens - one of my black orcs is KOed and I managed a BH foul on one of his storm vermins.

Second half, and I only have seven players available. Build a spotless defense with that! First turn one of the gutter runners is past the whole line - all alone just two squares from the end zone. I managed to get both blitzers next to the ball holder, pushing him towards the sideline. No knockdown, though. Fortunately, the poor rat tripped up and went down hard. The ball was now lying in the middle of the field, two squares from my end zone. I tried to pick up the ball and hurl it anywhere, but Ichiaz clumsy fingers weren't even close to holding the ball. Turnover, and the rats could push again. I managed to save the ball on the line again, but in turn four the rats overpowered my blitzers and made the score. 0-1.

Fourh turn and one down. At best I would come up with a draw. After flattening their front line (one KO and one BH (SPP! Yeah!)) I pushed forward too much, leaving the thrower somewhat vulnerable. A potentially dangerous situation vas solved by a lucky turnover. My thrower made the best of the opportunity and clompleted a nice pass for one of the lineorcs to run on. A good chance, but the rats knocked him down. My blizter tried going for the ball, but with no rerolls left it was dropped at the sideline.

Now, the world goes haywire. One skaven tries to pick up the ball, fumbles and drops it in the stands. Now those evil gits send the ball over the whole pitch, dumping it safely beside his group of three rats! Blimey! I try to get it, but it won't do. A lineorc is tripped up and I see my chances of scoring go away. His thrower makes an uncharacteristic fumble, so no more skaven goals. I realize the game is lost and go for the battle instead. I finish by sending a rat into the crowds, but fails to do some proper fouling. Too bad.

Post-match winnings is lousy (rolled a 1 for the second game in a row) but with Groblak Blindstyre gaining a +1ST and Arkuz the Black Orc gaining Block it felt better.
