Another game against a stronger team, symbolically shown by their fans at kickoff - poor Kroglak Knursk got hit by a rock.

Hellraisers opened hard with a lot of players on the line and knocked out my center black orc. Then they made a leftward movement and KOed my right wingman. Three players down in the first turn! Fortunately their drive got to a halt after a dropped ball.

I managed to open a small hole in their line and got to the ball, but I realized I wouldn't be able to hold on to it. Dumped the blasted thing in the corner hoping it would set back their team long enough to let the time run out. Turnover, of course.

Lots of pushing and shoving for a couple of turns, during which his thrower could have fetched the ball but really never seemed to do. It took him until turn five to move his lazy ass over there. I sacked him right away but he managed to dump the ball. He also downed my blitzer for a really convenient turnover... He rushed for the ball again but failed the pass - slippery bugger, that ball.

I got the ball under control but hadn't time to pick it up. Instead Elias the Streak jumped for it, avter having bounced it off my player. Good timing for a turnover. I knocked Elias into the stands, sending the ball across the field. I knocked out a couple of his players and ran for a td, but the throw from Iggnbaz Zipper was anything but zipping. Digging into the mud, perhaps. The Hellraisers nabbed the open ball and tried a long shot for a possible td. A failed catch from Jarring Jonas sealed the fate of the Hellraisers first and only drive. I tried a pickup, but to no avail. At least we were still all square.

Starting the second half with just nine players was somewhat perilous. There had to be just one drive or I would be history. He got a perfect defense, making my poor black orcs bewildered. No major success, but I managed to get old Groblak the ball and boxed him in real good. The Hellraisers responded by piling up around my black orcs and fouling them in the most evil ways. The ref did the only sensible thing and sent Soft Stefan to the bench.

I made a miss in the cage, leaving both back corners open. Rydis managed to squeeze his guard-player in one of the corners, to great effect. Fortunately, Groblak hanged on to the ball. Now it was all a mess. I tried to make a breakout, knocking the thrower free and running for it. The first dodge was good but the other one failed and I hade already needed the reroll for the blitz. Too bad. Now his catcher was free and far away with the ball. I feared a TD being very close.

However, there was still a slim chance. After a brutal cleanup where only two humans in the heap were left standing, I still had a blitz action left, and one black orc: Morgazk. He neatly dodged(!) the last Hellraiser and sprinted for the catcher. Going for it twice he reached the catcher - knocking him out!

The Hellraisers didn't give up there, again getting within two squares of the ball, but the lack of rerolls took it's toll with a failed dodge. With the Boyz now outnumbering the Hellraisers in the field the tide was changing. Knocking out the closest blitzer the ball was safe. Two more knockouts and I was 9-5 in players with all humans down.

Starting my 7th turn with only three standing opponents and only one orc down was a golden opportunity. Here I got so carried away with the bashing that I completely forgot about scoring. I could have sent one of my linemen down the field for a potentially matchwinning TD, but the player chose to enter the battling heap instead...

With two CAS and a multitude of KOs this was one of the more brutal fights lately. Also, finally good winnings(a 6 => 90k) and an increased FF this felt really good.
