A return game against the Fleetfooters. A nice and gentle game with no casualties whatsoever. Rydis was really out of luck most of the game, but on the other hand he was pushing it pretty hard with lots of unsure dodges.

First half started with a pitch invasion from my fans, but not much harm was done. It facilitated my boxing, though, and with most of his midfield stunned there was ample time to score. Groblak ran the whole field for a touchdown in 6th, leaving the elves with three turns to tie. A nice try was stopped by a failed dodge by the catcher Nagrilo, and with his dodge reroll already used up and no team rerolls left the time ran out for the Fleetfooters.

Second half started with an elvish drive which got off good, but a missed blitz by Begol the Wardancer followed by a couple of hard dodges left him stunned in the grass. After knocking out one of their catchers I made a potentially disastrous mistake, causing one of my black orcs to fall over. A bit of overaggressiveness on rydis behalf and an unlucky roll of double skulls ended his second turn. A failed "go for it" ended his next try - leaving me with an excellent opportunity to sack his thrower with Arkuz. After a miraculous pickup (he's a black orc, remember...) he went for it and scored todays second touchdown.

With his thrower yet again fumbling the pickup followed by a failed leap (both clean 1 rolls) time was growing short for the elves. A missed block by me could have given the elves a TD, but the now patented "roll a 1" cost them that.

In the last turn I tried a long ball, even though there was no chance of touchdown. Stupid me! I could have gone for a much shorter pass, to a better catcher than the front black orc... So, no completion for me. *sniff*

Added fan factor and good winnings (6 => 80k) was fun extras. No skill rolls, though.
