“First Victory for the Choir Immortal!
..but a tough game, lacking any exciting injuries. With Anubias the Mummy missing, the Choir were short-staffed the whole game. DLow had as much trouble breaking Undead armour as I did Orc. In fact, the two KO'd Orcs were from skull/pow blocks initiated by the Orcs.
The rainy weather made it hard for the Choir Immortal to pick up the ball, but they managed to recover it at key times. More importantly they were able to dislodge it from Orc possession, almost, but not quite conceding several touchdowns.
Late in the second half, the ghouls were able to swarm the lone greenskin as he strove for the endzone and actually pick up the ball. Rather than risk any passing, they ground the ball up the field, with the skeletons and zombies managing to occupy the Orcs long enough to take the game in their final turn.”
