“One of the most brutal games I have witnessed. This is the game where everyone goes away unhappy. Me for losing, him for losing some great players. The entire starting squad save one player was injured in this game. I still couldn't manage a win. Coalition made a standard pass play to open the game and score on turn 2. I tried to defend, but I am just not that good. My turn. We start our drive by grinding down the other team a little. We hurt a guy and moved the ball upfield. Coalition charged the ball and we repsonded by hurting some more and pushing the ball upfield. Then a brilliant defensive play. Coaltion wiggled an assist next to ball carrior, blitzed the ball free, picked it up and passed it deep, then walked into the endzone all in the same turn. My turn again. This time, I am able to protect the ball and grind down the opp a little more. We poise ourselves for a late half TD. A combination of a tenacious bend don't break defense and one critical positioning error on my part, led to me counting on a mino to clear the way. He knocked himself over. Half ends 2-0.

Second half, I get the ball. The Coaltion now have no reserves having suffered 4 first half BH. I grind and score killing one along the way just seconds after the apoth spent his talents on saving a players leg. I still have plent of time to score an equalizer. The last drive features the Coaltion mishandling a ball, and stumbling a dodge. EVERY opportunity to score, but I am unable to get a handle on the ball, and unable to hold onto when I get it. The final two plays saw at lest 4 CAS between us. I could have equalized with a dodge and a pick up , but failed the dodge. Massacre on the field, but still a loss. Great game, funnest I have played in months. Thanks, I look forward to a rematch.”
