“Game 1 of Season XVIII
Unsurprisingly I went into this match pretty confident. With the TR difference, only 10 players and no wolves, it was always going to be a tough match for the Necros. Not withstanding that, I was made to work hard in the first half and there was a real possibility of the Theatre going into the half 1-0 up. Fortunately late in the half I managed a few KO's and with his numbers dwindling I was able to surround the ball carrier and disposess him. Most of the KO's didn 't show in the second half for the Theatre either so I was fortunate in being able to choose who I wanted to score with. A late blitz in the dying seconds gave me a fourth TD and an overly flattering scoreline.
A tough assignment for you justbob - in the end it was just a question of numbers and not much you could do.

3 Points. Pumpkinhead. Golems are always a bit of pain but generally not that threatening. This guy though was had to bowl over and got some useful blitzes in with dodge/SF to help.
2 Points. Groth Paleflesh. Luckily I BH'd him late in the first half otherwise he clearly would have got the 3 points based on his first half showing. Picked up the ball, carried it and blitzed to boot. All round player.
1 Point. Benny Braingorger. Could have been anyone. Benny gets it cause he did the most blocks of the zombies.

3 votes - Twilight Deathmoth (#9) Shoved Mork Blackhelm out of bounds (KO), then followed it up by levelling Groth Paleflesh as he made a dash for the endzone late in the first half, resulting in the Duskriders recovering the ball and going up 1 - 0. Basically did as he pleased - 13 blocks for from an elf!
2 votes - Fenrus Switchblade (#1) Made sure the points got on the board, got himself in position for 3 TDs.
1 vote - Blackshade Fogdrifter II (#7) The one vote could have gone to a handfull of players (Ranklow and Lackhue were also putting in solid efforts) but Fogdrifter gets in for his solid work on the LOS.
