“The match between the Vandenburg Victims and Aigles Conquerants had a cruel twist in it. What looked like a real horror for the vamp's with lousy play and just 4 players remaining on the pitch at the end of turn 6 changed into a triumphant victory.
Perhaps it was Mega's decision to stall instead of running in his TD in the first half that angered the gods of fate, because someone seemed to want him to pay. Not only did he miss the TD, by failing a GFI in the final turn...bad luck would keep haunting him.
In the final rounds of the match it just tore the dark elf team apart. A serious injury saw a failed apo, and when the only thing left to prevent the 2nd TD of the match was a one die block by the able agi 5 dark elf Irion Mega took the chance...only to see hit/pow and RIP'ing his player on Beryx Tudor, who without any effort collected an impressive scalp.
Sad to see it turn that way, Mega. Take care.”
