Well this really was a farce of a match. Whilst the Babes had early hitting power knocking out many of the Elves, it was inconsequential as they all came back at a much faster rate than 1 in 2 whilst the Babes that were knocked out came back much slower.
Then there were the truckload of cas inflicted by my opponent and all his fouls not resulting in his DP being sent off whilst I believe one of mine was sent off on a 6. Plus my opponent did 4 cas from blocks without Mighty Blow whilst my I got no block cas at all (I had one Mighty Blow I used a bit).
I had 6 or 7 players vs 11 in overtime thanks to that imbalance of casualties and the blind ref.
With luck like that, it was only a matter of time before I was overwhelmed and I was.
Well played by my opponent but the dice were just a bit too uneven today.
Time to rebuild! ”
