“Well tonight the Gnoblars showed there tenacity in withstanding a barrage of bombs and taking the game to the STR2 AV8 Gnomes.

The pace of the Gnoblars was just enought to exploit all the opportunities created by Gnome fumbles and turnovers.

The game started badly when a block was thought to have killed the Ogre Gourger, but the apthocary managed to save him!!!!

The Gnoblars kept getting injured though and despite senaling a TD mid way through the first half, they were a man down at the end of the drive. After the Gnomes had restarted an dfailed to drive up field for the balance of the first half, the Ref suddenly put on his glasses after spending the whole half wondering why he could not see anything. As a result of his newly restored vision, he saw 3 Gnome bombers and expelled them for the second half.

During the second half the Gnome game fell apart and the Gnoblars ran in 2 TD's due to turnovers. Even when given a clear chance to score right at the death, the Gnomes managed to balls it up by their need to think about sitting on Toadstools all game long

A fun game to play with lots of explosions etc, but in the end the MA4 Gnomes just could not create any pressure with the ball.”
