“"The best defence is to attack", is what the coach had been telling the players before the game. For once, they believed him and thus blitzed forward as soon as the whistle was blown, catching the receiving opponent by surprise and scoring right under his nose. After 3 turns we were 2-0 ahead and actually these 3 first turns decided the game. Our opponent was never able to overcome our early lead; internal strubblings may have been a cause of this. An argument whether the passing game or the blitz-and-run game was best, made the two star players of the Sk. Em. refuse to be on the pitch on the same time. Meanwhile their coach was busy whining about the bad luck of his team (he'd better take an example at our coach: you never heard him complain about the bad luck of the Skavenblight Emmissairies, :-) ).
Special annotation this game for Speedy Gonzalez, who is finally showing his star player potential by scoring 3 TD's. (mostly by tactically being in the right place when one of the opponents dropped the ball or fumbled a pass).”
