“The Bad Rovers had the lions share of the luck in this one (60-47) before a last turn droped connection wiped the meter. The shades lost their ag5 lineman Batal to a failed dodge which let the girls score. 1-1 at the half the Bad rovers soon made it 2-1 and I was thinking this is going to be a draw because Iv'e given the shades too much time. But a chance to blitz the ball carrier was taken and succeded on a 1 dice block followed by a quick pick up. However I could not get away and a scrum on the side line ensued which ended with my ball carrier knocked down and the ball in the crowd, this duly came back and to my delight ended near the Shades end zone. There followed another failed Elf dodge which left I think 4 Elves in danger of crowd push! I had at this point to sit on my hands and resist the temptation for 2 reasons first I could score which would win me the game and second I did not want to destroy the shades as I need them to be a force against the other teams in Doriath to give me the chance to win the league. The Shades did manage a last turn consolation TD to end the game 3-2.
