After an abysmal start and a quick lead for the Koebes Kings the game took a different slant. A sad moment was when Heinrich was killed and the Apothecary failed again! But still the Carnival was able to respond and leveled on the Shark's first TD. The Koebes Kings then mounted an attack a miraculous pick by Knut Knoerrson then ensured that the teams went into the interval all level.

Knoerrson continued to be the centre of attention and he scored the touchdown that took the troupe into the lead. Plenty of time left though for an elven response. The Kings built up a nice drive but their footwork let them down, proving once again that going for it is the most dangerous part of the game. The pass for the leveling score was completed and it only required one last step but the elves did not pull through and the ball was lost. The troupe cleaned up ensure the win.

The fans voted Rolf the MVP - understandably the poor soul was beaten up all day. But the most important player on the pitch was Knur Knoerrson - he nearly completed a Larson, only missing the CAS (he caused 1 KO and 1 stun with his 6 blocks so it was awfully close).”
