Opened the game with both niggles making it, good handicap (it wasnt me) and get the ref on the opening kickoff in my favor. I was feeling pretty good, but my luck ended there...

Rerolled a block into skulls for my opening blitz, allowing him to take initative and drop a foul that resulted in a niggle on turn 1. Had 2 or 3 more snake-eyes in the first half early in my turns, along with numerous blocks on his rsc/claw/tackle monster that were unable to bring him down. The couple of fouls I did get on this monster were ineffective.

As such, he was able to rack up the casualties and KOs, score in turn 8 with a 3+ dodge, and position himself great for the 2nd half.

2nd half was much more even luck (I may have made more successful blocks than he did) but it was too little too late, as the wiz didnt spring the ball loose, and his strength 5 guy surrounded my guards was difficult to touch.

Would love another shot at this one, good luck to Jesp in the finals. Hope that monster didnt dull his claws too much ripping apart my elves.
