“What an absolutely crazy game Blood Bowl can be. In this game it showed that RR's are all important but even with them sometimes Nuffle will still play his hand and snakes will dominate.

I had actually given up on winning this game before half time while I lead 1-0. Seeing as it looked like Illithian was about to score, and that I only had 4 healthy elfs on the pitch. Thankfully Illithian went for a foul on the 8th turn and he was spotted by the ref. This left his WE stranded on the TD line wondering what had just happened.

I laughed, but quickly realised that with only 5 elfs back on the pitch, I would be facing some nasty retribution...Of course Illithian scored easily 1-1.

This was when it got very wierd. With only 4 players I was able to sneak a lineman forward, it wasnt easy but he made it. Though it was still pretty unlikely I would make the endzone. I was shown some benevolence from Nuffle, or more likely Illithian faced his malevolence. Either way, he snaked on a block and I ran away for the 2-1.

The game ended with another skull block on his part, and in the confusion his forward players forgot to run.

I was lucky the CAS were mainly BH.

What an effort by Callitris, 2 CAS from only 2 blocks. 100% baby ooh yeh!
