“The Gypsies were hired to clear some dead out of an old bloodbowl stadium, SALTATIO MORTIS. They wouldn’t leave without a game, so it was on! Granite overcomes pain to crush zombie on the frontline. It regenerated and shuffled to the sideline. Cougar completed a short pass to Jonez. Jonez goads werewolf into chasing him deep into the Gypsy lines, then crushes it! Wight dodges in an knocks ball loose before Jonez can throw it. Wight breaks free and gets ball. Gypsies surround him. He escapes, but Cougar brought him down. Cougar throws it to Brimstone for the TD.

The Necros fought hard to tie before the break, lead by the dodging wight, Jaszek, but even his prowess couldn’t get past the tackle zones the Gypsies had hastily erected.

The Gypsies have the dead another chance after halftime. The necros would push hard, but a late quarter throw to a ghoul in the endzone would go out of bounds, landing near the boys from Dark Water. Cougar would struggle to get to it and finally after a failed attempt, connected with McDamage for the final TD. Moat, the promising lineman, was struck down with a niggling injury, again the doctor stood by, useless.

Granite is winning the crowds with his effort over his persistent pain, picking up his second MVP in a row. What will the fans do when Coach Ryce eventually lets him go?
