“I was outstrengthed from the start and when i got my troll sent of for a dumb foul.. i was seriously under pressure.
1st half i chose to receive hoping i could take some Chewies off the pitch early and so keep the game in my favour. After initial pressure on my cage i made a break out with Mae Ling supported by Moo Niu and ended up being able to stall for my full 8 turns (just what us CD players like ;) )
2nd half started with some good blocks by chewies and they formed a cage with the ball in a bulls hands, albeit the cage was surrounded by my own prone players.
I made a play for a dice against block on the ball carrier, but just rolled pushbacks and didnt push my luck rerolling them.
Chewies bull moved into scoring position/stalling position but without much support. After a failed dodge causing a turnover, the next turn i managed to put tacklezones on the ball forcing him to blitz/score with no reroll.
He made it in though.
Kickoff and i receive again, i knew to stand a chance that my own Bull Moo Niu would need to do the business and successfully handed off to him.
Got a good first 2 rounds of blocks in leaving chewies guys in the LOS prone.
Chewie then overcommited the rest of his players to the line, leaving me with nothing better than a 1DB.. then tacklezoned my ball carrier.
I only had 1 play from here, blitz out with the bull(and i had to get a down result) and run forest, run like the wind.
The move came off, tho i had to burn my last reroll and i dodged a gob out to support the next turn.
Still with a chance to blitz my bull with a double GFI from his mino, the preceding block was skulls with no reroll ;)
With an almighty M000000ooo000! Moo Niu ran in the winning score 2-1.
GG and a tough one too, with a stupid sending off on my troll balanced out by those skulls at the end ;)”
“That was a very tough game against a very good opponent. Grit fully deserved his win because he played better than i did. Simple as that. Had a (long shot) chance to blitz the ball carrying Bull in the last turn to save the draw, but the pushback result was not what i wanted. Still, no damage, and a Bull with block now! Yay!
Well played Grit, good luck with your team!”
