Nuffle favoured us both one half but your half was too hard to give me a chance in OT. It was even close then, but I wouldn't have deserved the win. But as you say, a tie would have been great for this game.

WHAT A GAME, WHAT A GAME
Take a look at it if you want to see an entertaining replay, this match had it all.
If you just look at the casualties for starters, you can already see how extreme it was: 14 casualties total, and FOUR longbeards permanently killed.
You won't see this every day...
I was sure i was gonna lose this game after the start though. My best mummy went BH (no reg) by Zara in the first turn, followed by a SI on my AG4 surehands ghoul next turn, and in turn 3 Count von Drakenborg BH (also no reg). I had the ref whole fist half, but could do nothing but two KOs, while the undead ended the half with 4 players and thus logicaly 0-1 down. A turn 8 kill on a skilless longbeard softened the pain, and predicted the damage to follow.
Second half things turned around quickly though. I knew my only option to win was to foul and keep on fouling, I had three DPs for that. And indeed, this half it was suffering for the dwarfs. Zara blitzed and failed a dodge second turn so I could foul her out. Kills and BH followed all over the pitch, and easy TD for the undead it seemed...
But I got greedy for another foul (kill again) and the dwarfs managed to strip the ball and the undead had only one turn left to equalize. But, a one die with a blockless zombie worked, followed by a blitz to the endzone by one ghoul, dodge, pickup and quick pass from the other ghoul sealed it.
So, 1-1 in a very lucky way after regular time.
The dwarves got the ball in overtime and were down 9 to 10 men. After a long hard struggle, one of the runners managed to go deep, but a failed go for it proved costly. The undead finaly got the ball and managed to move forward on turn 6. The dwarves threw everything at them in order to stop them, but the undead were just too lucky. After a blitz, a dodge and a succesfull go for it, the 2-1 was scored in the very last turn of overtime.
Great stuff this game, a real classic encounter. Fanatic played great and deserved at least a tie and maybe the win as well after recieving so much damage and still holding on.
