“Nuffle dominated in this game. First half, I was in control thanks to some nice hitting by my Ghouls and the score came relatively easy. Things looked dire for my oppo, as he had bad KO-rolls and thus could only set up 9 players to defend. A Ghoul soon was seemingly clear on his way to the endzone until a sprinting beast blitzed him down. Still, with the ball surrounded by 5 of my players against two Beasts, the decisive score seemed easy. At least so I thought until 5 attempts on picking-up the ball all failed and the ball bounced all the wrong way eventually. A beast easily picked it up and ran towards my endzone, where a lone zombie was holding the field. The first 1d blitz on the ballcarrier produced only a push and the surprise result seemed decided. But then, Robberducky, the heroic Zombie, stayed on his feet when he was blitzed, subsequently dodged, went for it and knocked down the ballcarrier on 1d. That the beast was BH in the process made the result final!
Robberducky received a well deserved MVP after the game and took strength from this incredible performance.
