“Good match for "I Want to Conquer the World's" debut. La_Yena opted to kick first and an irate fan promptly pegs "Struck a Nerve" with a rock and puts him in the BH box. I guess he must have struck a nerve. (Sorry, its bad but I couldn't resist). Some good defense by the dwarves meant our only option for a TD in the first half was a pass to an open blitzer and then to stall for as long as possible. We were unable to keep the dwarves at bay for the next 4 turns and ended the half tied 1-1.

Second half we kick to the dwarves and a chess match ensues. The dwarf runner moving laterally across the field trying to find a hole and the humans moving to cover as best we can. Eventually the ogre goes bonehead and a couple of humans get ko'd and the hole the dwarves were looking for opens up and they managed to get the go ahead td on turn 8. Great game La_Yena.

Take home message for me was to make sure to have someone available to pressure the ball carrier and not to use the ogre if I need his TZ to hold up a part of the line.
