“If you want to see Nuffle's sense of humor in action, watch the replay of this match. Weird dice were everywhere, with my unfortunate opponent taking the worst of it.
At one point I thought I was unlucky, because I one and one'd a dodge which would have made a score, and his beastman picked it up and threw a pass to a guy who ran down near my goal line, seemingly out of reach. What followed was the luckiest play I've ever had on fumbbl, particularly so since I had no rerolls at the time.
The only player who had a mathematical chance of reaching the beastman was a gutterrunner who had to make a leap and a dodge from a tackle player to even get there. Making these rolls allowed me to throw a blitz, two dice against, which produced two pows. The beastman went down and dropped the ball out of bounds, whereupon it was thrown by the crowd the maximum distance the other way. One of my rats dodged out of a tackle zone, picked up the ball and threw a not very short pass to a lineman who caught it and gfi'd for the score.
This decided the game, although lots more weird dice followed in the second half, including my foe's complete inability to pick up the ball. My opponent is a good player and a good sport who took his luck with more grace than I probably would have. Good luck to him! ”
“First loss for my Xaos time.
shouldnt be angry with my players though.
Rabbit's Foot is a great team and was well coached by maxlongstreet.
..still they surely couldnt expect what happened.
47 blocks (most of which MB) and only 2 cas.
fail to pick up/catch the ball most of the time
(except for a lucky one last turn first half).
a Nuffled game I'd say.
i'm glad maxlongstreet agreed for a rematch.
thanks for the game.
hope for more blood next time.
