#4 Crug – Dead (RIP) #14 Chugg – Dead (RIP) #15 Lugg – Dead (RIP)
“This was a match with lots of blood. My buddy Darkwolf warned me prior to the match that I should expect to see a Star Player appearance in the form of either The Count or Tut. With this knowledge, I knew that this match would be both a test of my ability as a coach as well as the abilities of my team. Darkwolf has brought angst and anguish to many of my teams in the past and he has consistently come out on top during our matches.
As Tut took the pitch, I had a sure feeling that my team would not look the same ever again. During the first drive, I attempted to slow down the Texas Deathride by eliminating the Blodging Werewolf that was his teams leading scorer. At my first opportunity, I fouled the beast with my trusty DP and two assists. I was more effective than usual as the beast died underfoot. This unfortunate death enraged Tut, as during the following turns, Tut was responsible for two of the three deaths experienced by the Tribe. My leading casualty dealer Lug (Mighty Blow, Guard, Block Black Orc) and Crug (Block, Diving Tackle Blitzer) Tut fell to the hammer blows dealt out by the berserk undead star. I lost Chugg (Block, Guard Blackorc) later in the match as my chances of at least a tie slowly dwindled. Tut was both unstoppable and impossible to avoid as he effortlessly either demolished or broke tackle from any Tribesman that I sent to stop him. In the end, the Tribe was unable to stop the Texas Deathride from scoring the winning goal and they suffered a tough defeat.
The tribe will have to resign itself to licking its wounds in a quiet cave till it can rebuild from this crushing blow.
Let me take this moment to congratulate Darkwolf on his good coaching during a tough match. He is a great coach to spectate and a terror to play against. ”
