The revived heroes of Murda! Murda! in Flirtin wiv Def faced the North West Mincemeat goblins on an arena laced with heavy snow and hard winds, proving the fear that the pogo sticks would be a waste of money right from the start.

The opponents won the kickoff and the LOS consisted of two regular goblins flanking the fanatic Tinga da Tornado. The opponents fanatic was facing each other dead on, and a chicken race between two fanatics always ends up with casualties. The two collided in the very first second of the match, causing an immediate turnover.

Flirtin wiv Def got both the chainsaws started and pushed the opponents LOS back, but when the bomber Wop nearly blew himself up when he dropped a dynamite the confusion gave the opponents the initiative again.

While their ripper struggled to get his deadly weapon started the goblins charged the Flirtin ranks. The bombers proved unimpressive at the start of the match though and yet another dropped bomb caused a new turnover.

With both rippers moving towards the LOS with their chainsaws humming, and Wop getting on his feet and looking for more exploding devices things looked tactically set up for Flirtin.

Most of the players became bundled up in the middle, the Flirtin rippers and kickers initially not gaining any results despite good positions, but still the North West's LOS was slowly but steadily forced back. Casualties included both kickers on the injury list though...

Finally the rippers started to get their act together, and Ruk sawed an opponent in the groin, which made the crowd scream out in both terror and delight. Some of the players also managed to outflank the opponents and steal the ball. Nib guarded it with his chainsaw spinning, but he was pushed over and accidently straddled his deadly weapon, making the crowd squirm at another horrible chainsaw related castration. Ruk, who had tasted blood, followed up his brutal last round attack with sawing the goblin wurt in half, splattering blood all over himself and the surrounding players, while Smug miserably failed a block and smashed his own ankle on a badly timed tackle.

No touchdowns were made in the first half, but Flirtin wiv Def went in with a numerical advantage after having better success with causing casualties. The ref decided to even out the odds though and banned one fanatic, one bomber and one pogo stick for them while letting all the opponents cheaters be.

Second half started with 8 Flirtin players vs 11 opponents, and while recieving the kickoff the remaining blizzard made hopes low for achieving a TD.

Great efforts from the fanatic Snikk-Snakk da Swirla and the bomber Meeb tied up most of the opponents though. On two occasions the fortunate bomber downed 3 opponents in one strike, which opened up for Kleeb da Flyboy to run forward with the ball.

Towards the end of the turn the Flirtin wiv Def gobbos had decimated the opponents and had a good position within reach of the opponents end zone. Now a period of true drama began, with failed blocks, blitzes and blood to get to the ball. In the final shivering seconds of the match Smurk could snap up the ball and run in a touchdown.

Oceanic had nothing left but the turn 16 sore loser foul, and even that failed. This was just not his day, and Flirtin Wiv Def was through to the second round!
