So...my first game on FUMBBL tm

I search around the website a bit and find the "chat" link, and cleverly, I click on it.
Up pops some sort of chat client and I politely wait for a bit but don't seem to see any action.
"Hello?" I type into the void...my first mistake?
Some kind person answers a few questions for me, one of which is "how do I get a game?"
Pretty soon, I am typing "bblfg," which is apparently an acronym for "I am a big fat loser, please come and kick me!"

stochastic responds that he will play me with his Khemri or Chaos Dwarves.
"What TR?" I ask innocently...
"111" he says, meaning the Khemri.
"Sure" I reply, and quickly enough, we have a game up and running.

After a few turns, things are looking a bit weak for me, as I end up with a couple players off the field, though no one is injured. I examine his team and it seems a little stronger than TR 111 would suggest. I find his team page and find out it is TR129, not 111. Asking around, I find out that the 111 is TS, and that this is a good thing because of handicaps.
I feel glad about this, as I tune back into my game and observe the 7 players I have left on the pitch.
"That IS a good thing..." I say to no one in particular.

The second half rolls around and things are going from weak to worse, as my players seem intent on vacating the pitch.
My opponent points out the "luckmeter" at the top of the page, and notes that is says "81%" for him.
I poke around on the website and find out that this luckmeter is a way of telling whether you are being lucky or not. While I am reading about luckmeters, I keep hearing the sound of someone kicking a dying cat against the wall. Eventually I tune back into the game again, I notice that 3 more of my players have retired to the casualty box during the four blocks that my opponent threw.
I carefully check the luckmeter again, and feel grateful for the information it is relaying me about "81%" luck. I would never have known from the seven casualties littering my casualty box and the blood smears on the pitch. Good call, luckmeter, I'll be checking in on you regularly.

I note that my opponents nickname, "stochastic," means "of a random nature." I consider changing my own nick to "irony."

And I did have seven casualties, not six, so I don't know what's up with the match report function...can't count that high? I understand, I was confused too.

At any rate, that was my first FUMBBL game, and while my opponent assures me that his luck was unusually high, I believe I will wait a bit before playing my second game.

"Welcome to FUMBBL," he says.

Nice!

(all in good fun here)

I do like this match report feature though...
