“This was truly a game that matched different team styles. The Demean Machine came in with a smash-mouth style, while the Wind girls dodged away at every chance.

The first half kick off was received by the Wind, they carried it up field - fighting through some tough orc defense...finally they got the ball to the goal line...the ball carrier standing on the brink of the endzone...many of the Wind players had already sacrifaced themselves to clear a path...but then just as they were on the brink of success...a stumble on the dodge and failure on the RR...and the girls were in trouble. The Orcs continued to bash away...only 6 girls remained...then only 5...the orcs were in a hurry as the half was ending...only 4 girls left, 2 stunned, 2 prone...but going for it - they managed to knock down the ball carrier...only to have it land right in front of one of another orc! He scooped it up and then needed just a single dodge to waltz into halftime up 1-0...but he was brought down by the only amazon still on her feet.

The second half was a nailbiter as well...with it tied, 0-0, the orcs continued there march towards the endzone. The Wind players continued to throw themselves around in an attempt to stop the black orcs - no less than 4 times did through dangerous dodges the ball carrier was struck and lost the ball - but it would bounce right to another orc player every time. Rage was the prime example - doing a daring plan, she attempted to reach the ball carrier, only to stumble fall and die. Only through the apothecary's quick aid was she not lost to us forever. Finally, the orc was on the goal line...one more step to score, but one last blitz knocked the ball loose and this time it did not bounce to an orc...the ball was picked up and a long pass was throw to Rage whom had regained her feet and was well behind the play...the pass was off target and a trailing orc picked it up...but Rage blitzed him by herself..stunned him and plucked the ball off the ground at a dead run...no one caught her as she raced into the endzone. At the final kickoff only 7 players managed to take the field - of which prompts 3 were stunned by the crowd...however, a beautiful kick denied the orcs even the slim hope of throwing a goblin for a tying TD.

Overall, it was an awesome game. Right down to the wire and very back and forth. A truly enjoyable game. Thanks thereisaball for another fun game!”
