“The Fans of the Freaks were mighty confused by this game.
With Rodney missing the game due to a mangling from undead last game, they went into the game with only 10 players. And to top it off, one of the players had Morley's Revenge and spent a lot of time in the loo, if you know what I mean.
Strangly, a straight up block on turn 4 killed the Nethermancer's Ogre, Mnemmarkh Jar (Who got better, with help from their apothecary.)
And surprise deaths came along later in the game. Surprises to the Freaks, since that kinda stuff usually happens TO them, instead of BY them.
And then there was a lot of throwing of the football and running around. Veteren Catcher, Rupert, was in position for two TouchDowns, and Rookie Lineman Dartian the Arrogant proudly received one himself.
Overall, a much more brutal game than expected, especially considering who got hurt and who managed to slouch away.”
