“The dark elves were anything but peaceful! With a very sunny day, passing took a backseat to some punishing blocking. Embrace the Wind managed to strike first taking the opening kickoff down the field. Then managed to hold (barely) the elves from tying the score before half. The second half, the elves took the ball and refused to give it up...several times it was on the ground, but the amazing witch elves were constantly on their feet and blocking the ball carrier. Mr. Z. was a huge factor in the game as he constantly was providing his strength in the middle of the battle. In the end, strip ball came in handy to knock the ball from the witch elf...and eventually a lucky block knocked down one witch elf and nearly the end of the game...where one bounce would tie the game, the amazons finally game through in the clutch, grabbing the ball and passing to an open catcher who raced in to put the finishing touch on the day.

The game was just one die roll from being a tie. An excellent game, never seen witch elves used so effectively before! Thanks for the game.”
