“Quite a learning experience for our team. The goblins showed up with a star player - who sneaked a chainsaw onto the field. The goblins then played a game of stalling and fouling and chainsawing our players. The first half we survived, but T5 of the second half the scence was 4 amazons left on the field, and a goblin standing by the goal line. The goblins continued to foul the prone amazons for the next several turns...we can still hear their cackles of glee as they did it simply for the pleasure of seeing others suffer. Finally on their last turn, the goblins scored a TD and went off laughing. While two of our amazons were retired after the game - including our most experienced player. Her words upon leaving, "Get more dirty players, because you never know when you will run across a team like that again! Next time be prepared!" And so we shall try. Next time, we will not be so gentle when we face goblins across the pitch.”
