“The game begin in pouring rain...and it never abated. The game was marred with numerous fumbles and botched pick-up attempts. At the end of the first half the ball was lying in the endzone ready for the elves to jump on it and score...but they were barely stopped by a dodging gutter runner who snatched the ball. In the second half the ball was next to the goal and all the elves had to do was pick it up...and they fumbled the pick up and again a gutter runner making some good dodges stole the ball and managed to keep it away long enough to preserve the 1-0 victory.

A fun game...very different and difficult playing in the pouring rain like that!”
