“Very close game which the Bowlers really deserved to win. A fumble by the Buccaneers early in the first half gave the ball away to the Bowlers but a tough defence meant that they at least stopped the score.

Second half the Bowlers started with a strong drive down the right. Unfortunately they left an opening for Vertgun to jump up and smack the ball carrier. A lucky bounce saw the ball go off the pitch and a friendly crowd laid it right at the feet of Erork who broke down the opposite side of the pitch and away from the clutches of the pesky dwarfs to score at the end of the half.
