“Game 54 – SWL 18 Round 7

Silibili didn’t even show up for this game despite negotiations all week insisting on his involvement. Up side is the money is still in the Fossils account, although coach ArtaXerxes was less than impressed he let the star avoid playing tonight.

With only 5 of the big lads on the field, it was always going to be a challenge to keep the little guys in one piece. While the dugout filled up, it was the early loss of 3 saurii (1BH and 2SI, & after the first BH was apothed) that was disappointing. The eventual skink RIP came (after 5 were KO’d at one stage), but surprisingly to a dodge rather than tackle. Three RIPed skinks in 3 games now, they sure “crash and burn rather than fade away”.

Was a game where the Fossils always seemed to just hang in, and it was not until the final dice roll that the win slip out of the Zen Adepts reach.
