“Plaudits have to go to Furious George's ability to stall. For someone who insists he dislikes the tactic he was particularly skilled at it. I was convinced that he was going to have to score on turn 5 after I had taken the ball off him once already - but somehow he managed to drag it out to turn 7. All after I stupidly ignored the fact that he might start stalling and tried to start a mass brawl on the half way line. Kudos to you sir for seizing upon my stupidity.
I feel I got my fair share of luck in the game. Getting a 'bad kick' result on the final drive and a lucky pow on Timothy Janssen in the final turn was what allowed me to level it up.
That Timothy Janssen is a good player. Take care of him.”
“After a flying start from the Heroes, Marienburg found themselves a few players down, and only last minute surgery could prevent Michael Grubenhan from shuffling off the mortal coil. The undeads march towards victory looked to be an easy one, until the Marienburgers squared things in the dying moments of the first half.
Cue second half revival. The marienburgers went out with a gameplan of sorts, rushing down the right flank they set up a foul which put Sun Tzu in the ground for a second time, before stalling their way through most of the half. Coach Furious_George could be seen on the touchline both applauding and hanging his head in shame. When questioned about it later, he had only this to say: "Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do".
The Undead levelled the match in its final moments with a well executed touchdown just before the final whistle, will these two meet again?
Furious George certainly hopes so!”
