It was a thriller! In an exciting and at times hard-fought game the Working Class Heroes managed to salvage a 1-1 draw.
Substituting dear departed comrade Mann. New Quarterback Karl Marx scored what would prove to be WCH's only goal. The goal came deserved after an immense presure early in the game, punishing the opponent's offensive mishaps and taking the ball from their QB with the td to follow.
Oeuftete rallied his team and they were like changed after the kickoff. Suddenly they where all over the place with an equaliser in 1st half' turn 8.
After the break, WCH wasn't able to retake control of the game, as the LaF kept comming. They were inches from scoring the wining td in the end of the game, but WCH managed to ride off the storm.
Good Game.

"O Lord, we praise Thee for the glorious weather which Thou provided us with this day, to allow us to collect our harvest, and to play our match without distraction. And thank Thee for providing us honourable opponents -- though their secular teachings be sinful, O Lord, their spirit of community is noble.

"We realize, O Lord, that the first turns of the match were a test, that through our poorly planned actions and half-hearted blocking, we were not honouring Thee. Turning over the ball early and falling behind, O Lord, was Thy reminder to us to honour Thy name with more positive play.

"We thank Thee, O Lord, for providing us the strength to even the match in the first half, with improved blocking and brother Isaac's fast running down the sideline.

"Praise Thee, O Lord, for giving us the resolve to defend tenaciously against the intellectuals' pressure in the second half, and for rewarding us with a loose ball from an opponent's fall, as we were not able to pry it loose ourselves.

"We understand, O Lord, that though Thou hast given us a chance to score, that we must remain not too proud. That is why Thou hast humbled us by allowing brother Isaiah to fall as he crossed the goal line as the match expired, though he prayed to Thee, O Lord, for his footing to remain true.

"Amen."
