“The first turn witnessed some good blocking from the Swarm that would have killed a beastman had the apothecary not intervened, soon Acceptance were a couple of players down. The swarm got over excited by the beating they were handing out and allowed Acceptance to slip into the back field blitz a skink and pick up the ball on the goal line. The swarm were able to blitz the ball carrier but could only succeed in giving up a safety as they pushed him into the end zone.

Acceptance kicked off as the fine weather turned into a freak blizzard. Despite another solid series of blocking the Swarm were unable to keep Acceptance out of the back field and from blitzing the ball carrier. The half finished 2-0 Acceptance.

The second half and Acceptance's turn to receive the football. The Swarm pulled a perfect defence and pressed Acceptance on the line of scrimmage. A flat defence from the Swarm allowed Acceptance to move the pocket quickly into their half. The play got bogged down half way to the goal line and the Swarm penetrated the pocket to blitz the ball carrier, the hard blocking to reach this point took its toll and they were only able to push the ball carrier back. The next turn saw Acceptance clear space for the ball carrier to run out of the pocket and hand off. Not willing to risk a go for it in the blizzard the ball carrier stopped on the goal line well clear of the Swarm with a blocker. The Swarm had a shot at a two dice against blitz but opted to beat down the closest players to themselves. Acceptance ran in for the score on their next turn and the Swarm finished off with some more hard hitting blocking badly hurting a Chaos Warrior.
