“Final of the Albion Regional Challenge:
The Gitbonkers came in after a relatively easy walk into the finals and faced the Umbrellas, who had completely bashed a High Elf team of the pitch in the semis.
The Umbrella's bashing just continued, tho this time they beat up my Orcs. AV9 was absolutely worth nothing in this game. After T3, it was 7 Orcs vs. 11 Darkelves, completely ridiculous! 1:0 at the half was the automatic result.
Everything else was one big uphill battle for the Gitbonkers. Besides AV9 being useless, MB showed to be just as useless. The Elves were just too tough today. After a mad scramble and a timely 1 for the Umbrellas (hardly ever happened elsewhen) I was able to get into overtime.
Opponent kicking! Yay! My joy was short-lived though. The ensuing blitz was just the icing on the huge cake for BlueDevil.
Thx for a funny game, and cya around. Next time you can bash my CD of the pitch with some Flings :). Today, even that would have worked to perfection.”
