“The match started with 11 Horn players on the field...but on the opening kickoff, the Dead Men's fans got the ref (some black magic we believe), and so the opening half was bloody...apothecary failed as well and no one ever woke from KOs for the game either.
First half saw the Horn trying for the endzone...needed 1 gfi to score....tripped! Then, another chance...needed 2 gfi to score...and again a trip!
The second half was less bloody, and it seems obvious that the Dead Men would score - they were in such control they even tossed the ball around a bit to a skeleton. Then all the sudden, the 6 remaining Horn players - all on their backs and all marked by Dead Men and without a RR, caught fire - dodging around like mad and gfi as well and suddenly the ball carrier was flat on its back and the ball was in Horn hands again! There was no chance for the Horn to score...but at least they denied the Dead Men the score and preserved the tie!
Thanks for the game!”
