The comics hired Zara and a Wizard to try and even up the massive difference in team strength and experience, but were still lacking in players with tackle.

The handicaps (Iron Man, Illegal Drugs and something minor) did help bolster the Comics line but they were still looking outgunned.

The Babes started in offence, but a pair of Double Skulls on the first turn left the ball exposed (I should have covered it before doing the rest of my blocks, greedy play) and the Comics stole it, knocking out the Babes' most potent hitter in the process.

The Comics played way above themselves as they raced out to a 6 to 9 player advantage as they badly hurt two Babes and KO'd 3 whilst the Babes were only able to KO two Comics (but did use up their apothecary).

The Babes forced the Comics to score eventually hoping for a chance to get a quick score, but none of their 3 KOd girls came back, giving them 8 vs 11!

The Babes focused on carnage and ended the half with 5 Comics in the KO bin!

The second half saw 10 Babes up against 11 Comics and a Blitz on a short kick saw the ball surrounded on the line of scrimmage.

The Babes continued to maim whilst the Comics broke out on the left wing, only to fail an easy dodge (snake eyes?) and lose the ball!

The Babes recovered the ball and ran it into the middle of the ground to avoid the lightning bolts and played a delaying game. The Comics were getting outnumbered as their girls were being KOd and tried a fireball which failed. They also got a 2 dice block (without tackle) onto the Babes ball carrier but were unable to free the ball.

The Babes stalled out the half, killing Zara with a foul to take the game to Overtime where they were the lucky winner of the coin toss to receive once more.

The Comics were out of rerolls and their DP was still KO so it was 8 Babes vs 9 Comics. The Babes KO'd two players with fouls only to have one of their own girls KO from a block to make it 7 players apiece.

The game was over once the Comics Str4 (Illegal Drugs) Tackler was also KO from a foul and the Babes were able to keep their player advantage with DPless fouls to KO the opponents.

The Babes scored on T24 and had 6 players to line up on the LOS to face off the 4 Comics who were unable to do a last turn cas.

What a game of two halves... the main part of the first half was all Kalamona as I got the 2x Double Skulls on turn 1 and got player after player taken off the pitch to have 6 vs 9. I then failed all 3 KO rolls to give me very little chance of a half time equaliser.

Then the dice turned as I did a stack of KOs vs Kalamona who then failed most of them to start half time and I started to get incredible luck with the fouls. Eg, one of the RIP was with +2, the RIP on Zara was +3.

Not much Kalamona could do in the second half and he played a very good game, keeping his Tacklers safe for as long as possible, but it was not to be.”
